WHO IS THE ANONYMOUS (AND MALICIOUS) AUTHOR OF THE ONLINE SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST ADELE TOMLIN/DAKINI TRANSLATIONS? A public call to discover the name and identity of the cowardly person/s behind Github, Youtube and similar online content spreading lies, defamation and derogatory, misogynist insults about a lone female Buddhist scholar-translator since April 2025

Using weaponized misogyny and highly derogatory language is a classic tactic designed to dehumanize, silence, and emotionally distress independent female scholars and survivors. The use of explicit, vulgar, and degrading insults removes any pretense of “fair criticism” or “public interest” and has violated the core Terms of Service of major web hosts such as WordPress, Blogspot and Youtube.”

“The Youtube channel (@pestsolvent / “The Pest Dissolver”) is an account created exclusively to conduct a malicious, targeted cyberbullying and harassment campaign against independent scholar-translator, Adele Tomlin. The anonymous operator of this channel uses highly degrading, defamatory, and abusive framing to systematically humiliate and ruin the professional reputation of the subject. This content is part of a wider, cross-platform malicious campaign. The exact identical text content utilized in these videos has already been legally reviewed, deemed severely abusive, and completely removed by Blogspot and WordPress website hosting companies due to bullying and harassment violations, and the Youtube channel is currently geo-blocked in the United Kingdom under strict online laws on bullying, harassment and defamation. The anonymous author’s use of images in the videos of unknown overweight women, transvestites, occult type images and so on, is also unethical and abusive in terms of violating the priivacy of those unknown individuals, but also evidence the author also is transphobic and body-shaming other women to try and humiliate and attack Adele Tomlin. “

“The migration of the same banned and illegal content to GitHub is a common tactic used by bad actors when they are banned from consumer blogging platforms like WordPress and Blogspot. Introduction: clear, provable “harm” caused to Adele Tomlin by anonmymous online stalking, harassment and smear campaign

Recently, I clarified for the record “Who is Dakini Translations?” to set the record straight about my professional and academic background and that I am a sole person (not a group) with no affiliation or funding from a political group defaming the Dalai Lama etc. This was due to persistent false and defamatory online content, now masquerading as a “public service” on Github (an appropriate name if ever there was one, “Gits anonymous” in this case!) as a “public accountability audit” which is just an anonymous person using online platforms for systemic, unlawful harassment, defamation, derogatory and vulgar abuse of myself a lone woman.

I had been ignoring it gracefully, thinking that whoever saw such content with any modicum of intelligence or a kind, honest heart would instantly see it was anonymous, mainly AI-generated in terms of words and voice, unsubtantiated, derogatory and not pay it any attention. The accusations and language are so “over-the-top” it is almost hilariously stupid, and I thought others would think so too. They also do not have many views or subscribers on Youtube, and I had assumed the same was true about their website content too.

However, recently (as I also reported here in relation to harassment at Sherab Ling monastery in March 2026) this same content has bizarrely been cited as (totally inadmissible) evidence in a false and vexatious court case brought against me to ban me from attending Dharma teachings associated with Palpung and with Gyalton Rinpoche. And even cited as “research” in false and defamatory statements (in January and February 2026 to third parties like Titi Dolma and Damien Jampa) by a prominent Buddhist person, Carlo Lucykx (ex vice-President of the European Buddhist Union), in statements made on behalf of the EBU in relation to his refusing to investigate bullying and harassment in Europe 2025, and labelling me as unreliable.

As a result of these, and other incidents, there is now clear and provable “harm” caused to me by this online defamation and content to my reputation, Dharma activities and to my friends, supporters and relatives. Normally, I would not care too much, but as it is being used in legal actions, the time has come to name, shame and expose this malicious and defamatory activity, and its negative influence on those with a vengeful agenda with the aim of also hopefully (at least) revealing the identity of the author.

Normally I would find it easy to ignore and forget about (as it is so ridiculous and not many people following it) but as some people are now using it in a false and vexatious law case in India to deliberately defame and harm me, and leave me liable to costs and legal prosecution/ punishment if I do not respond. So there is no choice but to contest it, unless I never want to return to India again.

Also, despite several bans on the content (including a geo-block in the UK) due to breaching international cyberbullying and harrassment guidelines and being unlawful, the author/s is still obsessively stalking whatever I write, do or say online and engaging in targeted defamation and harassment. Thus, the person seems to be psychologically unwell and needs help too. Thus, it is in everyone’s best interests, including them, that they be clearly identified, stopped and given proper psychological support and help for their obsessive addiction, compulsive stalking and defamation,and also restrained from causing any further damage. Thus, please read below and help identify the author and bring them to justice.

Unlawful platform ban evasion, ignoring and having contempt for international cyberbullying and defamation laws, and geo-blocked content in UK

The anonymous author explicitly admits (and celebrates the fact) that their content was already legally reviewed and forcibly removed by WordPress and Blogspot due to privacy, bullying and harassment violations. And furthermore, admits their content is currently geo-blocked on their Youtube channel in the United Kingdom under strict online safety laws due to my being a UK citizen.

Yet, despite these bans and clear breaches of international cyberbullying regulations and guidelines, the author is now willfully abusing GitHub’s infrastructureand Youtube to circumvent these legal bans, advise others how to do so (see screenshot above) and continue their malicious and harmful smear campaign.

The anonymous account’s use of images in the videos of unknown overweight women, transvestites, occult type images and so on, is also unethical and abusive in terms of violating the privacy of those unknown individuals, but also evidence the author is maliciously targetting protected groups, and body-shaming other women in their attempts to humiliate and attack Adele Tomlin (a biological woman).

Not a “publicly accountable audit”: Main points re the anonymous targeted harassment, stalking, smear campaign, defamation by unknown individual/s:

1. Unknown to me at the time, the anonymous content began online (on Youtube, WordPress, and Blogspot) around April 2025. The author first used the name on Facebook as Mogul Li and Wangdue Tsering on Facebook and adeletomlin.blogspot.com/wordpress.com as their website URL, started posting content about myself and sharing their blog posts.
2. The content is misogynist, sexist, insulting and derogatory and compares me to “excrement”, “a porn star”, a “sex pest” and uses occult/demonic and misogynist images of overweight women and transvestites on their Youtube channel @pestsolvent (operating under the name “The Pest Dissolver”) to bully, attack and harass a lone woman.
3. The author is anonymous and created two websites one on WordPress and one on Blogspot, using Adele Tomlin as name in the URL website address, both of which were removed last year by the international hosting companies for breaching their community guidelines on bullying and harassment and unlawful targeting of an individual.
4. The author now hides behind pseudonyms and “masks” like “public accountability archive” and “public audit”.

5. The YouTube channel @pestsolvent (operating under the name “The Pest Dissolver”) is a direct video extension of the same targeted cyberbullying and defamation campaign. The channel explicitly uploads videos carrying identical derogatory titles and content targeted at Adele Tomlin—such as “Adele Tomlin: Dakini Translating or Madam Hearsay Interpreting?”—mirroring the text hosted on the prohibited GitHub repository. Because this channel bypasses prior platform bans (such as WordPress and Blogspot) and uses malicious, degrading attacks to target a private individual, it explicitly violates YouTube’s Harassment and Cyberbullying Policy.

6. Their Youtube channel was geo-blocked in the UK due to my being a UK citizen and is currently being investigated by Youtube for invasion of privacy. Youtube informed me I would have to take expensive legal action to geo-block it in other countries.

7. Use of strange terminology like “psy-op operations failure” to refer to my genuine and purely motivated Dharma research and translation about Buddha Dharma suggests the author is mentally unwell, or themselves part of some stalking “psy-op operation” (whatever that means!), it is so over-the-top it is almost ridiculous.
8. In particular, the content slanders and defames my devotion, work and connection to one of my main gurus since 2006, 17th Gyalwang Karmapa (simply for suggesting people get answers to the court case filed against him, and to having a child etc.) reasonable and not defamatory suggestions.
9. The author also seeks to refute and slander my being a survivor of sexual misconduct by Sangye Nyenpa (which they also falsely state is not true; there have been multiple other reports by women reported to me and others), and to discredit my academic writing on Gelugpa sectarianism and the role of the Dalai Lama in that.
10. The timing and use of the website content cited as “evidence” in a recent vexatious and unlawful misleading legal action in Delhi, India (which was deliberately taken in my absence without my defence) by the same people who bullied and smear campaigned me in Europe 2025, suggests that they might be the authors of the website and/or Youtube channel. If not, they may know the person who is, or the author somehow managed to become involved in the legal action itself.
11. The obsessive targetting, bizarre language and descriptions of my purely motivated Dharma activities under the guise of some kind of publicly helpful “investigation”, which is just polemical personal opinions, fake online data/stats and claims, solely targetting me as an individual without any good or positive qualities, suggests the author is psychologically unwell, potentially dangerous and disturbed and needs help. Or that they may themselves be funded by a group to conduct this bullying and smear campaign on their behalf. It has all the hallmarks of a “gang-stalking” operation aimed at completely discrediting my character, work and more. The very things they accuse me of doing. It is said that all false accusations are generally confessions.

Who is the author of this defamatory and unlawful content? A list of prime/possible suspects

So who are the prime suspects for the anonymous authorship? There are a few possibilities, including being paid to it by someone else/a group, but whoever it is, let us find out soon, as they seem deranged and obsessive:

a) Titi Dolma, Thinley Topden (unknown person) and/or other associates of Gyalton Rinpoche (such as Carlo Lucykx, ex vice-President of the EBU) who have bizarrely cited the website contents as (clearly inadmissible) “evidence” to support their ongoing bullying, smear campaign and character assassinations in an unlawful and vexatious legal action in New Delhi, India. They did not source or identify the author of the content when citing it either. This is clear and compelling evidence that they might be the authors, or at least associated with the author in some way. The fact this content is being cited in a legal action brought by Titi Dolma and Topden in GR’s name means it is also possible that GR is also involved with the content, but let us hope not and that it is just those people around him.

b) Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche (and or his family members or enablers). This is also credible as the content seems intent to defend SN’s name (and defame me as a survivor) without providing any substantive, credible evidence (other than masses of irrelevant online statistical data) to disprove serious and multiple allegations of sexual and dishonest misconduct. Also, as I reported here in 2020, since 2019 onwards, some of these people have conducted online impersonation, bullying, harassment and smear campaigns online and more since I first reported the misconduct to Benchen monastery and centres and other teachers, such as 12th Tai Situpa and Mingyur Rinpoche in 2019 and 2020. Since Adele exposed the misconduct, her original Facebook profile was suddenly taken down (Adele Zangmo) in 2019 and she could not regain access to it, because she no longer had the phone number and email she had used to register for it around 2008. Some people with FB profiles of family members of SN, such as his sister in law, openly made false and defamatory allegations about her to others.

Tomlin has been impersonated many times by FB users claiming to be her,with names such as Khandro Tsultrim, Alexandra David, Jacky and others. They either claimed to be her, or pretended to be people or women who knew her etc. Many people did not check if it was her or not directly and verbally, and just assumed it was. However, the organisations and teachers associated with SN have failed to investigate, resolve the issues, or provide any kind support, advice or guidance to women/survivors.

c) Other corrupt individuals/teachers/enablers who are connected to the people above, or who have been exposed in my reports. Such as Henry Chia. For example, there is one known individual from Singapore called Henry Chia ( [www.facebook.com/ratnahenry](https://www.facebook.com/ratnahenry) ) who has shared and posted this content and derogatory content about me online since the content began (in 21 April 2025), after I had blocked him on Facebook and disagreed with them about misconduct of lamas in Tibetan Buddhism. He then posted on FB (see here) private message publicly I had sent him asking him to stop posting the derogatory and unlawful content. This was then immediately supported with a long, false and nasty comment by a woman called Sonia Gomes, who even falsely accused me of using FB pseudonyms to stalk her (false). In fact, they are FB pseudonyms impersonating me. Chia supports and follows teachers like Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, so he also has a motive to spread AI-Generated defamatory content about me in relation to my critique of the Khyentse Foundation. Henry has a prime motive and evidence to show that he promoted and supported the content right from its very inception. Combined with his blatant lack of respect for me or my privacy as a woman and Buddhist on FB, make him also a potential suspect, or as someone who knows the author.

 

d) An organised and funded person/group who are being paid/funded to target, stalk, bully, harass, control, monitor and defame me with the sole intent of causing public doubt over my credibility and background due to my being a survivor and writer about misconduct, corruption, Gelugpa sectarianism and so on. This could be Tibetan Gelugpa fundamentalist/sectarians (and their foreign allies) as they have done this to other prominent critics of Gelugpa political and religious culture , such as Niraj Kumar (a prominent scholar-translator and government minister, and his unparalleled work on Kalacakra.

e) An obsessive, mentally deranged, hateful individual who has a vendetta, personal grudge against me, who may (or may not be) associated with the above individuals. This is also possible but more unlikely as they seem very personally involved in the legal case, and the obsessive extent of their “investigation” and defamation suggests they are directly involved with the above individuals/groups, or they are being paid.

g) all of the above!

Conclusion: Symptom of widespread online violence and abuse of women and survivors

Sadly, distressing and unlawful as this content is, there is nothing new here. Women and girls, particularly survivors are being subjected to huge amounts of anonymous online abuse. The anonymity says it all though. There is nothing courageous, manly or protective about men (or women) who do this.

In fact, in the Buddhist and Vajrayana world, to denigrate, insult, smear and actively harm or silence any woman is considered a gross, root downfall.

These should be major “red flags” to anyone who is thinking independently and clearly about these matters. Sadly, this case revealed that several people in roles of responsibility in the Buddhist world have been actively promoting and propagating such online harassment and abuse.

For Adele Tomlin’s Lawyers — Priority Actions

1. Preserve the GitHub repository immediately via archive (it can be deleted). A lawyer can request a GitHub preservation order under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) (if US jurisdiction applies) or the equivalent.

2. Subpoena Google for mogulician@gmail.com — this is the single highest-value target. Google’s Law Enforcement Request System handles this.

3. Subpoena StatCounter — smaller company, potentially faster response, same account.

4. Report to GitHub via their abuse portal with a DMCA takedown or harassment/defamation report — GitHub cooperates with legal requests and can suspend the account.

5. The UTC+0700 timezone combined with content referencing “Thailand” and “India” in Facebook admin lists narrows geographic jurisdiction significantly.
