This website section is for articles and translations connected to or about HE 9th Khyungpo Gyalton Rinpoche (whom I first personally met in May 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam) and whose teachings I also attended in Taiwan and Europe.
Although, it has only been a few months, Rinpoche left a profound, blissful and lasting impression on me with his humility, understated elegance, pith instructions, vajra power and commitment/samaya, which has continued inseparably whether physically present or not.
Gyalton Rinpoche’s (Tibetan name is actually spelt Gyaton) [1]. His prior incarnation was one of the heart-sons of the 16th Karmapa, and the 12th Tai Situpa, and Gyalton Rinpoche is what they call “a hidden gem” indeed. With good proficiency in English and yet “down-to-earth” and not pompous, Rinpoche is an “experiential” guru teaching non-verbally by example and realisations. Words become less important or necessary in his presence, which naturally draws one into the great bliss-emptiness union of method and wisdom.
Sadly, various attempts in July, August and September 2025, by a few people administrating his courses in Vietnam and Europe (connected to the Discovering Buddhism Within course), due to the presence of significant karmic afflictions of jealousy and aversion to defame, slander, block and prevent me attending his teachings [1] based on gossip, and without seeking his advice or input on their decisions and actions. However, those events that I did attend in person (and mentally) were blissful, and meaningful and led to the following “creations” (see below). A mixture of articles, transcripts, translations, downloadable e-books/sadhanas, and reels. may it be of benefit!
IMPORTANT UPDATE 2026: BULLYING, LIES AND DEFAMATION AGAINST LONE WOMAN Since creating this page and writing the listed articles from May to September 2025, several serious events happened (from March 2026 onwards) which I have documented here in A SURVIVOR’S TESTIMONY/EXPERIENCE. Including a vexatious ex parte court case full of lies, defamation, inadmissible, unverified evidence such as citing screenshots of an anonymous smear campaign website, fabricated and misleading timelines and dates, that misled a judge in my absence that I was an “emergency threat”, was filed at their own cost of 2 lakh INR, while I was outside India. It was done in the name of Gyalton Rinpoche (but signed by someone called Topden).
As Gyalton Rinpoche has never spoken to me or contacted me about it, I have to assume he knew about it and consented to it, which is shocking that any monk, never mind a tulku would suddenly resort to such vexatious and costly legal action, without any warning, mediation or discussion with him beforehand. The fact they sought a 500 meter boundary order, a “gagging order” forbidding me from writing about him or their court case on Facebook, with zero threat or substantive/verified evidence, is also extremely contradictory to the qualifications needed for a “Buddhist master”. The reason I am still keeping this page active is not because I continue to have that faith, devotion and respect for him as a teacher anymore, but to counteract the lies they told the court (without having to show any specific proof) that my writing about him and his courses had been false, defamatory and obscene. Read below and judge for yourself as to who is lying and who is telling the truth on that.
