New ‘Books/E-books: Downloads’ section on website

Am happy to announce a new ‘Books/Downloads’ section on the website, that lists the hard copy books and e-books published, as well as almost ninety unrestricted, freely downloadable .pdf files of translations of commentaries, sadhanas, praises and so on.   However, there are a lot more translations contained within the six hundred or so website articles themselves, which are either restricted texts (that require a specific empowerment /transmission) or not converted into pdfs (yet).

When I started Dakini Translations, I initially set it up with the aim of not only being the first female-founded Dharma translations and research website, but also one where all the translations and transcripts would be freely downloadable (following in the footsteps of the great Tibetan translator Marpa, as I speak about in this short video intro here). However the most unique aspect of the website is unlike other Dharma translations websites, I detail from whom and when I got the empowerment/transmission for that sadhana/deity/practice, but also provide contextual research introductions to the texts and their practice.

Since I started creating this work, particularly during the COVID lock-down years, the website has grown to major proportions and is a body of massive work (and effort) followed, read and appreciated by thousands of people, including scholars, practitioners, teachers, monastics and laypeople.  Thus, I am now collecting some of the six hundred research articles on the website into individual e-books by topic/section. Watch this space!

Dedicated to the three jewels of refuge, Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. In particular, to the flourishing of the genuine Buddha Dharma!
