Today, for the forthcoming commemoration on the 19th August 2024 of the parinirvāṇa of Karma Kagyu founding forefather, Dagpo Gampopa, the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa published a new Offering Praise in Tibetan.
As there is no English translation of the praise, I have provided one here (see below). Apologies for any errors in meaning or intent! Interesting to note that the 17th Karmapa writes ‘here’ in the land of Tibet.

Offering for the ‘crown jewel’ of Kagyu, the erection of the Sambhogakāya, the unequalled, great Gampopa
“Here, in the land enveloped by mountains and snow,
A great man ‘opened up’ the supreme vehicle of definitive meaning teachings,
and erected [1] the great abode (Tsang-chen) [2] of accomplishment.
Remembering the Dharma-King, Youthful Brilliant-moon (Dawo Zhonu).
by Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje”
Translated by Adele (Zangmo) Tomlin, 16th August 2024.
The 17th Karmapa also wrote a different Praise for Gampopa’s commemoration in 2023, which I translated here.

Endnotes
[1] This word གཏོལ་བ can also be translated as disclosed, revealed and even built. I used penetrated as it seems to have more a sense of piercing, slashing through something.
[2] Tsang-chen is the name in Tibet of a plain in the Upper Do valley.
