I was surprised and saddened today to see on social media that the Austrian musician/composer Albert Oberleitner had recently passed away on 25th September.
I did not know Albert personally at all (we never met or spoke), but last year (August 2022) he sent me a piece of his music, performed with his band Keepers of Nature (after I contacted him online) to be used in a showcase I planned to do on new and unknown Buddhist art, music, poetry etc.
Due to lack of time, I have not yet been able to post any of the different entries, but as my own brief memoriam to Albert’s life and spiritual musical creations, here is the particular music track he chose to send me:
Wishing Albert a swift re-birth in a pure realm and condolences and prayers for his family and friends. Om Ama Dewa Hrih.
