For a Losar (Tibetan New Year) offering, here is a new music and video composition of the mantra and images of Noble Tār̥ā, a goddess deity in Tibetan Buddhism, with artworks of Green, Red, White Tara and the 21 Taras.
Noble Tārā Mantra: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha. Seed syllable: TAM.
The melody was composed spontaneously by the vocalist, Adele Tomlin, and recorded without break. The mantra fades out to some blissful chillout tantric AH vibes and photos of the many faces of Adele Tomlin, founder and sole author of Dakini Translations, and singer and composer of the melody of this recording.
Ending with a final image of the ‘favourite bird’ (excuse the English pun! ha ha) of the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa, Rigpe Dorje (a purple-breasted Gouldian finch) and bird song. For more on the 16th Karmapas and Tārā, see article here!
The stunning “Face of Tara” front cover line drawing is by Tibetan thangka artist, Venod

Video and vocals were created with clipchamp, a laptop and a mobile phone recorder. DIY Tārā style!
May it be of benefit to all beings, and may we all attain the fully awakened state of Noble Tara.
