KEEPING THE FLOW GOING: Fundraiser for the Dakini Translations research and translations website and work

I hope you all are well and enjoying the continual flow of research and translations on the Dakini Translations website! As you can read from the latest article, during my work has been described as ‘genius’ publicly by a leading Indian scholar on Kālacakra at an international conference in India.  I was also recently featured as a teacher and scholar by Tricycle Buddhist Magazine in their Summer edition, as well as presented a Dharma Talk on the two views of emptiness as described in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.  The newly launched podcast, Dakini Conversations also recently featured in the Top Ten Buddhist podcasts in the world. Also, as you can see on my new personal website, many people (including well-known scholars and practitioners) have sent messages saying how much they love and appreciate the work I do too.

One of the unique features of the Dakini Translations website and work is that it is a freely available, non-profit resource for all those interested in the study and practice of Buddha Dharma.  However, unlike investment bankers and lawyers, and due to ‘survivor-punishing’ and being a woman who writes about the not-so-romantic (or compassionate) side of Buddhism, it is no longer easy to attain external public funding for these Dharma activities.

Although I would happily continue  with the activity (funding or not), Dharma translators need to eat and (sometimes) sleep too :-). So a new fundraiser has been launched to raise 1000 GBP in funding, this money will cover general daily living costs (as well as any travel costs associated with research trips to sacred Buddhist sites in India/Asia). If 20 people gave 50 GBP, or 50 people gave 20 GBP, then the amount can be raised!

If you want to help ‘keep the flow’ of Dharma activities, or are looking for an authentic and beneficial Dharma project to help and support, please donate to Paypal at dakinipublicationsATgmail.com or visit the fundraiser and give a one-off (or monthly donation) here. Many thanks again for your continuing interest and support!

As they say, “You can give without love, but you cannot love without giving.” With love and gratitude. Music? With a Little Help from My Friends by the Beatles.
